Class Announcements
SOL Review
We have completed all of our units of study for the year!  Students will be reviewing for the SOL, which covers 6th, 7th, & 8th grade science.  Additionally, we will be doing some in class projects to extend their knowledge of chemistry and physics.

Agenda
Ch. 20 Workbook due Wednesday & Ch.21 due on the 5th.  We are working our way through our final unit on Waves, Light, and Sound.


Agenda
1st week in January - we began chemical reactions and reviewed what we learned about bonding.

Jan. 11th -15th
  • We will be wrapping up Chemical Reactions.
  • Most work is being completed in class.  A few worsheets may need to be finished up at home.
  • Expect a quiz on chemical reactions.
  • Ch.14 Workbook will be due next week.
Jan. 19th - 22nd
  • We will be studying Acid/Base Chemistry
  • Students will be creating a mural in class this week.
Jan 25th - 29th (29th is the last day of 2nd Quarter)
  • Our last week of chemistry.
  • We will finish off chemistry with a quick look at Organic Chemistry.
  • Our CFA test on Chemical Bonding, Chemical Reactions, Acid/Base Chemistry, & Organic Chemistry will be on the 28th or 29th.
